Lipscomb University's College of Business will require all MBA students to have a global business trip, beginning in 2012. To prepare, new courses and trips are in preparation. The first of these will be a new study trip to India, scheduled to begin in May, 2012.
To preview the trip and prepare for the students to travel, a team led by Dean Turney Stevens recently traveled to India. Team members included Dr. Mike Kendrick, associate dean, and Tom Gray, a Nashville business executive, who chairs the College's international studies subcommittee of the Board of Visitors.
The team recently sat down to summarize their thoughts about what they saw, what they learned, and what they took away from the trip.
